Council Tax - Unoccupied and Unfurnished Properties

The Council will grant exemption from Council Tax providing the following circumstances relate to the property:

The property is unoccupied and substantially unfurnished.

The maximum period for this exemption is six months from all the circumstances being satisfied.

After this period, Council Tax will be charged at 50% of the full charge.
